Character & Chorus in Antigone

Under the guidance of a professional theatre director, student's investigate Sophocles' powerful text. The dynamic relationship between chorus and character is a unique challange presented by Greek drama. Using ensemble and movement based rehearsal techniques as well as classical character analysis, participants gain an insight to the work of a professional actor. This workshop is both intellectually and physically challanging.
At the end of the workshop, groups perform for each other, and have the opportunity to ask further questions about studying drama at degree level, or becoming a professional actor or director.
